Hi-for one or more reasons I need to import .stl files into OnShape, make them parts and then output them to another piece of software. I can not only NOT find out in any research how to properly produce a part from a mesh nor can I actually export the mesh as a file. Each time I try to calculate the bounds for a mesh I get a bounding box that get imported as a box. This is not useful at all. I realize there are other ways to get around this using other software but for a class I am supposed to be using OnShape. Can someone please help me understand how to consider meshes/.stl files in OnShape or point me to learning resource where there is a tutorial? Thank you

any advice @NeilCooke ?
The Steam Iron is an example of how meshes are intended to be used in Onshape - as a reference for building exact BRep geometry. Meshes cannot be converted to solid (yet), so they cannot be turned into a real part.
