Drawing of part configured in assembly
If you configure a 20part part studio with say 20 option to tweak the design when inserting into assembly. Then wan't to create drawings of those parts with same exact configuration that you put into assembly and wan't it to follow if you change the assembly configuration. Is there a way to 'explode' assy back to parts into drawing so it would reference the same configs that assy does??
Or do we need to input same configuration 'parameters' for each part to get them right for drw? If so, this is very error prone and laborous if there is many configured dimension parameters.
I would like to select 'use same configuration as asm1' when inserting part into drw.
Any ideas, comments, thoughts?

Yep, that is nice way to make standard configurations - but does not solve the actual problem where your drawing doesn't follow your assembly.
If you have configurable parameter say 'length in mm' that you describe when inserting to assembly and you then wan't to create manufacturing drawings of that assembly - How do you get the same length for part in drawing? You might have same part multiple times with different length. How do you automatically update drawing if you change parameters in assembly?
Let's think we have piece of 2"x4" wood and set length configurable. Then build a house in assembly. Then create drawings for needed pieces.
