Construction line used in creation of a Revolved Surface? I assumed construction lines "ignored".

I stumbled across this creating a revolved surface. In Sketch 1 is a construction line that is to be used as the axis of revolution. When doing a surface it fails saying surface intersects itself. But click on Solid and it creates the solid! Something to watch out for?? I selected the entire sketch by picking on it in the Feature list. I assumed any construction line would be "ignored".

@christopher_owens good tip, this maybe even classed as a bug but not of high priority.

I tend to use construction lines allot less in Onshape than SW, as it seems to be able to handle most things with out having to have construction lines. However still a good tool in the arsenal.

I see this as rather undesirable behaviour. I'm not closed-minded on this point, but there would have to be a pretty persuasive reason.

Well I was "testing" something else and needed a simple revolved 360DEG Surface, so I quickly created Sketch 1, a filleted box "out in space" and placed a vertical construction line for the axis on the Origin. I had images but I guess I forgot to attach them and they are on another computer (must learn to put all of those in my Google Drive!). Yes I could of either created two sketches or "window-box select" the solid sketch entities. New OS habit of picking the Sketch in the feature list! Otherwise I might not of noticed this, until it came up in a more complex Surface! (OS why is this failing!!??)
