Coincident constraint android

darren_mason871darren_mason871 Member Posts: 35
I'm attempting to put a coincident constraint on 2 points that are on different planes. The point moves to the right plane, but not to the right place. What do I need to do different?

You can only draw on a 2D plane. There are no 3D sketches in Onshape yet.

You can create a new plane with 3 points, that is one way of getting a plane between the points you have.

Something can't be right bc I know I've seen this in a tutorial video where they were making a sweep, and used coincident to combine the profile sketch and path sketch

@darren_mason871 - it all depends on the geometry. If the path was created first, you can create a plane normal to the end of the path and make the profile sketch coincident. It's not entirely clear what you are trying to do in your doc - please elaborate on your intended end result and also which video you are referring to, thanks.

I'm trying to make 2, 90 degree lines on the front plane and connect the endpoint to another 2, 90 degree lines on the right plane. Then fillet and sweep the whole thing. I can't find the video I saw. Here's the file:
