Difficulty in resolving ‘mate errors’

My subassembly is valid in itself. Then I constrain it in the main assembly. It gives me an error in the subassembly see screenshot. Revolute 1 is red and I need to guess why.

Suppressing all mates in the main assy solves the problem.

I can find the error of searching by suppressing- unsuppressing. Is there a faster way?

    something in your main assembly is conflicting with the sub assembly mate.

    is that model shared with me?
