I can log on to onshape, but when I am trying to load my drawings, I see the spinning "loading drawing" icon, but I get this message (Onshape is not connected. Your document is saved. Refresh the browser to continue working on this document.). I refresh the browser, but still get the same result.

This is usually due to the fact that your browser can't make a "web sockets" connection to our servers. Can you go to the https://cad.onshape.com/check page and see if it identifies any problems?
Are you running behind a restrictive firewall? Some companies and schools block certain outbound connections.
When I first create the drawing I don't have any issues editing it or inserting views. I am logged in and can acesses my other assemblies and part studios. Since it is a colbrative document I checked with others to see if the drawing would load for them, and they ran into the same error.
I also clicked the check link from @NeilCooke and there was no indcation of any issues.
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

When I go to the usual signing in page, cad.onshape.com, the page is totally blank.
I did manage to sign in by bringing up the signing in page through appstore.onshape.com/signin.
But when I clicked on my documents, I was presented again with a blank screen.
I have done what you have suggested, but it has not made any difference. The problem occurs on both of my computers, a Chromebook and a machine running Opera on Windows.

if it’s both computers it sounds like your network, router or ISP.
I checked the items that you suggested but they do not appear to be the problem. Attached find an image of the items the console listed when I open the page cad.onshape.com.

Do you have time to jump on a teams meeting with one of our devs? We have not seen this before and want to do some more digging. I sent you a DM.
Thanks,
Neil.
