Novice user needs help with Loft

I am trying to great a rudder shape using loft. Being a novice OnShape User I looked for a similar design to replicated the process. The first link is a similar design copied. The second is my attempt.
The loft fails with left and right Guides selected. Selecting one guide works for that edge resulting in a misshaped result. Need both guides to form correct shape.

One more simple approach would be to split the loft into two different lofts. Keep an eye on your inputs and start / end conditions. "Match tangency" and "Match curvature" only apply if the profile you select is part of a body not a sketch. "Normal to profile" can be applied if a sketch profile is selected.
