Fillet on an assembly between to parts?

I must be missing something. I have a simple object: two parts, a cube and a cylinder mated using an assembly. I'd like a simple fillet at the joint, but don't see any way to make this happen. Here's the document:

Thank you, parts need to be attached and filleted as needed, then assembled, clearly you wouldn't be able to fillet an assembly joint.
Here is a way to simulate welds and such starting from the assembly using "in context" additions to part studio. Good for getting mass closer to final if there is a lot of welding. Also makes a pretty picture for customers.
