How to connect two parts

tarek_mustafatarek_mustafa Member Posts: 40 ✭✭

Hallo All, I thought it would be a good idea to model and print a DaVinci Helikopter for my boys. Unfortunately I can't get a solution on how to connect the bottom ring with the top ring using three connection frames.

I don't know how to realise this using sketches as it becomes diagonal and need to connect two parts. Hopefully someone can give me some ideas how to do this kind of thing in CAD.

Best regards,
Tarek

I agree but you could also draw one of the trapezoid shapes and the path line and use sweep pattern and Boolean.

@NeilCooke What do you mean by "sweep pattern"? Do you mean a sweep of the trapezoid sketch, and then a cicular pattern?

    Yes sorry, missing comma

No problem. I was just curious if there was some special feature I hadn't noticed.
