constraints inter-sketches

Hello,
I have not seen this subject addressed anywhere, so maybe my approach is wrong.
How can I establish constraints between items from different sketches ?
For instance : same diameter for circles located in different sketches.

The sketches must be on parallel planes as the first sketch is projected onto the second sketch's plane, so a circle will project as a line (if they are orthogonal).
If the sketches aren't on parallel planes, you can add construction lines at a diameter and make those equal (assuming there is an obvious commonality - e.g. horizontal or vertical).
Or, you can also just use a variable and control the circle diameters from a single variable.
Thanks, it all helped very much.
