How can i keep a loft parallel whilst it travels a curved path?

Hey there! I need some help recreating a shape in Onshape from a Desmos graph. The shape is basically made by starting with a graph of y=2sinx and having a bunch of semicircles make up the area of each intersection along the y axis. I tried using loft to continue a semicircle from the center to the corner but it does not keep the semicircles parallel. I was also confused on why the loft got bigger first before starting to go smaller. I tried watching the Onshape tutorial for lofts but was confused, so any help you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated!
Here is the graph incase i didn't do it justice with my explanation: https://www.desmos.com/3d/zf7myjfcdu

Not really sure what you mean by getting bigger and smaller. Here's what loft does for me. Maybe you can share a link to your document for inspection?
