Selection bug in Features (Instances) List in Assembly
I've seen what feels like unexpected behavior in the Instances list when editing an assembly.
1) Make two objects in a Part Studio, then make an Assembly tab and insert the two parts.
2) In the 3D view, click one object to select it, then click the other object to also select it. Look at Instances list on the left and the names of both objects will be selected and the cursor will reflect "2" objects selected.
3) Click in the Instances list on one of the two selected objects... The cursor will change to reflect "3" objects selected, but only two objects actually are.
4) Now click in the Instances list on the same object again. The object's name will unhighlight making it appear that you deselected the object, but the cursor will change to reflect "2" objects selected and the 3D view will show that two objects are still selected.
5) Click and drag on the manipulator in the view and both objects will move, and the Instance panel will update to reflect that both objects are selected.
It's not a critical issue, but when relying on the Instances panel to help select and deselect objects that are difficult to select by directly clicking on their geometry in a particular view, the Instances panel can't be trusted to do the right thing. There's currently something wrong with manipulating the selection of objects from the Instance list if they were originally selected by clicking within the 3D view.
Thanks,
Brock

With that said, #4 is an issue and we'll write up a ticket for that.
