Loft Connections and editing them

Ref att, model
I have looked at the training videos on lofting and think I understand the connections and guides generally. i thought loft 2 would be easy to correct as I can see the connection errors.
I was hoping I could delate an unwanted connection and add required missing ones
When I look at Loft 2 I see obvious connections which need correcting to achieve the desired form.
I was hoping to add correct connections and delete unwanted ones. This seems to be more difficult than I expected. I have not tried guides as loft 1 seemed to work fine and thought perhaps i am missing something wrong in Sketch 0
Any help would be appreciated

Looks like you've soldiered on while waiting for an answer but have avoided the original area in question. In the image at the right you can see some connection points (orange highlighted points) I used to maintain the rounded areas and the flat top as intended. When you introduce a differential in the number of segments in the two lofts, you need to tell the program which points are important to connect. Hope this helps.
