Colored sketches not colored when exported

I want to make my project with a laser cutter so I tried to change the color of the sketches to tell the machine to cut or engrave. When I exported the file to a DXF file, it wasn't colored. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do?

    To get colored lines you'll have to place the sketch in a drawing and override the lines that you want to be colored. and export the drawing
