type in depth of extrude after starting it

BouwyBouwy Member Posts: 16 ✭✭
What I do:
- I made a sketch
- Select the sketch
- click extrude (sketch is already selected as sketch to be extruded)
- want to adjust depth so click the 25 mm which is default and adjust it.

What I want:
- Have just made sketch selected
- click extrude
- Directly type for example 5 to change depth to 5 mm

That would increase work tempo.
Is that possible?

Not right now, but you can press the tab key to jump to the next field in any feature dialog.

Another idea: Control the extrude depth with the mouse wheel like in solidworks. Thats very handy for trying out / wangle something.

You can already change any value with the mouse wheel - just make sure the value is highlighted first.

    - Not in sketches
    - Not on extruding

Thats what i quickly tested. Mouse wheel controls zoom all the time.

Or is it a Problem with the Logitech driver as often?

    Update:

oh... cursor has to be in the field... thats it. Differs from solidworks ;-)
