Piping Diagrams, P&IDs & other schematics

in Drawings
Does OnShape provide any tools for making P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) 3D piping isometric drawings & other schematics?
I do realize this is not 3D-CAD but many of the conventional CAD systems nevertheless provide some functionality for this sort of thing which still benefits from CAD functionality.
Just curious.

@rahul_nabar Not today but I wonder if you post something in our App Store & Partner Apps to see if any partners might plan on doing something in the shorter term.Lou Gallo / PD/UX - Support - Community / Onshape, Inc.5

What I am searching for is a consolidated CAD tool that would provide basic modeling & assembly functionality (OnShape seems to provide this) but also good 2D drawing support (direct draft without requiring an associated model/assembly). A fully featured P&ID or Electrical schematics system that sits on a database is not required, but it would be nice if a 2D symbol catalog could be created and symbols plopped into 2D drawings.

This is a shame that Onshape doesn't seem to support native 2d schematic drawings. Considering when doing harnesses in 3d you need to upload a "from-to" .csv and define connectors, all the information to generate a very useful schematic is already loaded in. I'm imagining it wouldn't be too much more work to create this functionality.
@NeilCooke is there any chance of implementing something in the future? Missing pin-to-pin information presented in a easily legible way from a harness drawings is a deal breaker in using Onshape for harnesses for my company.
