Hi folks.
I read this in another post from @ilya_baran and @billy (thanks guys awesome explanation).
It got me thinking about the need for a glossary of terms for folks who are new (like me) to cad. OS does a great job on help and tutorials, and the forums are a godsend when stuck.
However when seeking help, or even answering questions it's so much easier when you have the correct vocabulary. It'd be great if there were to be a single resource where we could go to get a rounded understating of terms. The intention being that if you've read and got a handle on this then you have a grounding of what's what. Better still if it were tiered to Basic / Advanced / Guru levels.
As I've learned I've picked up some stuff, know what the buttons do, read the help etc. but don't have an understanding of what I may be missing. For all I know I'm going about things in a silly way in a design and there may be way better methods for example.
Again, just thinking out loud.

I understand, I hear you brother! There isn't a good understanding in this field for definitions.
Tell me what a "face" is? projection vs. transformation? 3D cubic vs. bezier? acad vs. real cad?
There's a lot of ambiguity in this field.

It would be perfect if one could learn and check terms on cad-wiki but like @billy mentioned there are so many cases that each term would need it's own page with loads of images / videos.
