Dimensioning complex curves

I'm having trouble finding the right dimensioning tool to measure complex curves. Is there an add on tool or feature that I'm missing?

Can you give an example of what you are trying to measure?

That may depend on which point on the curve you want to measure from.

A trick I use sometimes when things get complex like this is:
Create a sketch and draw a line between the points you want to measure. Then slap a dimension on that line.

If that is imported geometry and you are trying to find the approx radius, create a sketch like @john_mcclary said and create a 3 point arc over each one using the midpoint of the curve as the third point then measure those.
