Constrain entity (line, point, circle, etc.) to center of face

When sketching, it would be great to be able to add a constraint that centered a point (or circle or rectangle or whatever) to the center of an already-defined area.

If you made a mate connector and added a coincident constraint to that, would that be a suitable workaround for the moment

As @mbartlett21 already suggested you can use a mate connector, which is face aware, and will add it to the centroid of the face.. It is good to remember that that works fine as long as the face is symmetric and does not have cutouts that can throw off this center calculation.

For other centroids, you should be able to reply on other sketch entities like construction sketches for the center.  Constraints for sketches are not really intended to do calculations like this.  I am assuming you want this intelligence to work like our USE tool where edges can be projected and update accordingly.  If you have another example of what you are trying to achieve, that would help us understand the workflow you are after.
