I made RF Horn ass`y public, and this is my question.
How do reference the section without planes, they are  not visible on the model.
Is there another way to section an item ?

I am still unable to import STEP files. I get the part no. but no 3D model.

Hi @john_brodowski you can click in any planar face to activate the section view in assemblies, also if you want to make a section not using faces (As is not always possible) you can put a mate conector anywhere in the model and use it to create the desired section.

Regarding the problem with your step file, if you can share the file here in the posts so we can take a look it will help.

    That is neat !
I will make public all my documents. STEP is listed there.
I have a problem with the Sweep commend. Please look at the coil. It twists, gives angular displacement to the end profile.
It is not congruent with the mating profile.
It could be done with the Loft commend, but it would be very laborious
I mentioned this issue with the Support, never received an answer.
    Thank you very much

I have made my documents public and pointed out an issue with Part # 3.
I will not elaborate on the issue, but it is self evident upon examination of the part .
    The Sweep issue in short.

I recommend if you require help from the guys around here that you be more specific with your requests. For example:

    1. Share the URL of your model
    2. If the file with problems is RF horn, there are no sweep operations on Part #3 just Loft operations
