copy and paste of sketch parts

Noobey noob here: anyone know of a way of simply copying and pasting sketch entities in the app? I can copy a sketch, and add it into a sketch, and then delete the parts that I don't need, but is there a simpler way? Thank you for reading!

Edit the sketch you want to copy from and make sure you are editing the sketch you want to paste the entities in
Hello,
I would like to continue this thread.
I want to copy/paste a sketch with a mirror effect.
Let us consider I hace a dice with five unevenly positioned holes on one side. I want the same holes on the opposite side, aligned with the initial ones.
If I just copy the sketch which defines the hole positions on the initial face, and paste it to the opposite face, the sketch will appear on the new face exactly as it is on the initial face, which means that the holes will not be aligned with the initial ones.
If I can mirror the sketch while pasting it, or after pasting it, I can have the holes aligned.
I hope I am clear.
How can I do that ?
My answer would be to manipulate features instead of using a different sketch for something like this…
For example you could do a 180deg circular pattern around the center of the part and that should give you what you want.
EDIT: the 180deg pattern would work with the sketch as well…
Another option would be to create new bodies (parts) instead of doing a remove with the feature creating the cuts on the first face, then you can do a transform by mate connector to manipulate these exactly the way you want. Add a boolean at the end to remove all of these from the faces.
To do it in sketch… after you paste the entities in. you can simply mirror them with the sketch mirror tool.
@jean_marc_billaud - In your example, the dice face could be transferred to the opposite side by creating a sketch on that face, then using the "use" command to bring in the dot geometry from the 1st face - no mirrors at all. Just a 2nd option for you.
Thanks you, I will have to investigate those tips.
