Great update, thanks for your awesome never ending work on this fantastic tool.

Configuration drag and drop is gamechanger (instead of move up endless times:))

    I stopped reading after this

    • The assigned default value for a configuration input is now displayed in the configurations panel
    • Configured dimensions can be renamed
    • List values can be reordered by drag-and-drop
    • Configuration inputs can be reordered by drag-and-drop 😍
    • You can expand or collapse all configuration inputs in one click

Thanks you sooooooooo much for this! This has been a pain for me for years.

Continuing to read, Oh my god! I'm having trouble comprehending how so many pain points for me have suddenly been solves in one update. This is awesome!

@Alex_Pitt I am experiencing the same thing. All my defaults are in inches. When I create a .dxf it defaults to meter. I change to inch it to inch but if I close the program it goes back to meter.

Is there a default setting for .dxf export that can be set?

@bryan_lagrange Don't think so. If you're talking about drawings (rather than exporting from a part studio) I think it defaults to the units specified in the drawing, but I don't know how to change those. They may be locked into the DWT file of your drawing border. Before export, when you change the settings away from "Use drawing units", it does seem to remember the change for subsequent drawings in the same Onshape document. So you should only need to do it once per OS doc.

My apologies. Onshape doesn't remember the export settings for particular drawings between sessions. Today, the export options were back to the default: "Use drawing units."

But yes, it could be useful to set defaults for this in your company settings or user account preferences.

Can we allow for all Dimensions to be edited/renamed, not just configured ones.

I do not see Straight Pipe Tap as an option in the hole tool. The "Straight Tap" option seems to revert all settings to UNF thread styles. As a lighting manufacturer, 1/8 NPS is one of our most commonly needed threads.

The tapered pipe threads will be very handy for me. But, it looks like it is not yet supported for external threads. So we're only halfway there.

I can't find the metric straight pipe tap option for a part I've designed - do I have to create a new part or something in order to be able to access it?

yes yes everything else is cool too but finally i have more free time in my life again because i no longer have to make 4 million clicks on hundreds of configs.

Love being able to export from structured view. Can we add the ability to export multiple parts/drawings/etc. from this view as well? That would speed things up so much, especially since I have some of these parts scattered across different releases.

I've got the same issue as @alex_pitt

Dxf export default to meters is a huge pain. I output flats for laser cutting all day, and this feature has been running interference very effectively.

Please make it default to the drawing units.

Everything else seems great, keep up the great work!

Don't really know where this belongs - forgive if wrong place.

Suggestion: there should be a button which when pressed shows ALL functions UNDER ALL BUTTONS.

I'm not newbee - but i find myself spending lots of time trying to find a function i know exists - but don't know where!

    thanks
