How are the triangles the same when they arent?

I was working on a triangle, and I added an offset and tried to make a parallel line by copying over the angle and length of the first side. Yet, the numbers don't seem to line up for some reason, anyone know why?
As you can see, the two lines have the same angle, and yet are somehow nowhere near parallel, same with the length.
And here, you can see it's the same with the lengths. I seriously have no idea what could possibly cause this. Does anyone have suggestions? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
For some reason I can't comment, so it turns out they were in fact not on the same plane, thanks for your help yall.

Visually, it’s not 45 degrees. Are the sketches on the same plane?
