Do You Have A Nice Model To Show? (DYHANMTS_2017)

edited August 2017 in Community Support
Motm didn't get enough participants to carry on month after another.. Many people still like to see what others are doing and are willing to post some work of their own. Let's try this.

If you have somehow nice model, post a link and screenshot (or just something you are allowed to show) and I will reward you with forum points by marking your post as an answer (all rights forgetting to do this reserved).

Discussion can live in same thread since model content (best answers) will be on top of the list.

    Junior chair made of only 3 different pieces and optimized for nesting. Only screenshot.

    Few users are active on a forum. Most of the active ones are doing mainly MCAD, so it's either not meant to be shared or just too generic in its appearance.
    Still, I think we can keep this thread alive.
    I've shown that already in another thread:

    Since we've gained a couple of surfacing tools, I should have more stuff to show in future.

    The bug is actually fixed, but the fix would not automatically show up in existing failing features (As for why and how - that is a topic for a blog article I keep intending to write). If you share your model with support I'll tweak it to pick up the fix as done here.

    That looks like nice tool. Do you render with keyshot? V6 or 7? I should take some lessons from you =)

    Would that be a whole plane?
  • michael_stallsmichael_stalls Member Posts: 59 PRO
    its not quite a whole plane at the moment. Im not sure if i will model everything down to the last nut and bolt yet. the plan is to produce shop drawings for constructing the structure

    @bryan_lagrange that's very nice work sir.  :)

    Can't help thinking it needs some SS dome nuts to really finish it off.

    Nice @bryan_lagrange

    @owen_sparks
    I would go with something more technical 'show off' nuts like the type that is used with sprockets or something like this:
