That depends on how you like to show weldments in your design:

    1) Weldments as sub assemblies (recommended)
1a - Draw each part in the same, or separate part studio
       1b - Create a new Assembly
1c - Insert your parts into the assembly and add mates as required
1d - Use BOM as a stock list for your drawings

    2) Weldments as monolithic solids within the SAME part studio
2a - Draw each part in the same part studio
2b - Use Boolean "Union" option to combine parts into a single part
2c - Manually create a stock list in drawings

    3) Weldments as monolithic solids from SEPARATE part studios (not recommended)
3a - Draw each part in a separate part studio
3b - Create a new part studio, or choose one from the existing parts
3c - Use Derived Part to add the additional pieces into your current part studio
3d - Use transform / patterns as required to position your parts
3e - Use Boolean "Union" option to combine parts into a single part
3f - Manually create a stock list in drawings

    4) Weldments as monolithic solids in same parts studio naturally
4a - Draw your first part in a part studio
4b - Draw your second part in position and select the ADD option on any extrude/pattern command
4c - Manually create a stock list in drawings
