Assuming the circle through the letters should remain, you should edit the sketch that made the circle and trim the part that you don’t want away (you may have to use the split command in sketch to split the circle). You also need to make sure that in the extrude feature, you select “add” - currently there are 4 individual parts there.

if you created your sketch plane for your ring on the square portion (dark blue in the video here).
If not, then you can modify the sketch plane of your circle to be that face any time.

then you can take advantage of sketch inference, which will create a zone wherever your sketch intersects something on the face you created the sketch plane. (yea that was wordy, easier to see than say :) )

As you can see, we choose Add, and only select the portion of the ring within the badge.
Then we set the depth "up to face" to make sure it follows the same depth of the main body.

From here we set the merge scope to include all of the pieces that intersect. (you could also have chosen "Merge with All"

Love the visuals. Great job . Thanks. ....as I am learning I find GIF that you cant pause move to fast. but  thanks again. In the end I went with the arch rather than the circle tool.....made it a lot easier

It's hard to judge timing with my gif recorder, I try and go  slow, but it skips a lot of frames and looks choppy and only has a limited duration to record. After that I have to put it on youtube
