i want to create drawing file for a component which has different configurations... for example i create a drawing file for 500mm rod... i changed the length using configuration to 300mm... so what will happen to the drawing file ?

    Nothing - the drawing will remain unchanged. You can right-click a view and select "change configuration" to update it.
