Phew, for a second there I thought you might say "Google images".

Great job. Why a coffee machine? Something for a project or just something familiar to test out Onshape on?
    Cheers,

    ...Why a coffee machine?...

Well, this is no ordinary "coffee machine".
It is a La Pavoni Europiccola Lever Espresso Machine.
Ir produces the elixir of life.  :)

We don't have anything fancy like that here..

But, what do you get when you design a machine for a coffee manufacturer..
Free Keurig makers as part of a Christmas bonus

And a crap load of free coffee

The thread creator is so useful, I'm hoping it may someday just be a staple part of OnShape.
The downside is that the generation of parts with visible threads can be very slow - so I use configurations to turn them on and off.
Propagating the configuration through layers of assemblies has tried my patience a bit... but it all works very well.

In fact some of the things you can do with configurations is pretty amazing. Here is my top level assembly's configuration:

Yes, Onshape configs are the killer app.

There are so powerful it takes me a solid half hour to just give an overview of what makes them so useful. When introducing Onshape to someone.

As for othercad; their configs can be explained in 2 sentences:
It's like having a bunch of coppies of similar parts/assemblies in the same file. But you have to explicitly define every iteration...

Outstanding.  There is nothing like having a passion for a "hobby" and investing the time, thought, space and money into doing it well.  Great set-up, thanks for the photos!  That elixir build station looks a lot like how I'd have laid out my reloading station for ammunition.
    All the best, Owen S.
