I need help animating a train around a track.

It also wont properly animate with this dimension.

  Sorry for the late response. The project is probably solved or finished by now, but here is what I would do:
  
  When I animate parts along a path, I usually try to constrain the part to a single surface with no breaks (An example is posted here). This makes it easier, but may not have the distance per revolution you are looking for.
