How to use FeatureScripts in your company? (The pocess)

1.Direct use of the official FeatureScript. (What if it is no longer made public ? ; What if there is an improvement that I don't want to have?)
2.Copy FeatureScript and work with the copy.

What is your way of working in the company ?

    Hi @René_Sartorio - unless you intend to modify the custom feature yourself, you should use the "official" one so you will get any updates or bug fixes. If you don't want the latest version of a feature or a change to the feature breaks your model, you don't have to update to the latest and you can continue to use the older version of the feature in your models and your toolbar. If the feature is no longer public, your existing models will still work and you'll be able to create new features in the same Document, but you won't be able to create features in new Documents because it will be removed from your toolbar. You could always make a copy as a backup just in case, but you should continue to use the "official" one. For example, my Beams feature is currently at V27 due to a combination of new features and bug fixes, but it has been copied 1900 times, so all those users may not be using the latest and greatest. Hope this helps.
