Updating a part in assembly

ehsan_pazookiehsan_pazooki Member Posts: 52
Hello guys,

I'm trying to update some parts in assembly. But it does not work.
The blue-white update button on top right is not active.
When I double click on the part and the click on the option "update and make new version", this also does not work.
Could some one please help me?
Thank you very much.

Best regards
Essi

It's hard to tell what the issue is because it requires making a copy of all your docs. The better option would be to make the edit in the part doc and create a new version there, then go back to the assembly doc and then update.

However, with such a simple assembly i would recommend doing it all in the same doc and then you won't have any update issues. Click the + icon bottom left to create a new Part Studio.
