Move Variable/s from Part Studio to Variable Studio?

in General
Is it possible to move an individual variable, or variable table, from Part-Studio to Variable-Studio? If so, how?

The table pastes into multiple cells (columns and rows) in Google Sheets but does not paste correctly in a variable studio.
Any thoughts?
You'll need to make a variable in the Variable Studio first, then single-click its name cell (such that you're not editing the name), then paste. That's the way our table paste works right now.

@_anton a simple tooltip in the app could basically solve this. also it looks like this is wrong as @es_doubleu thankfully discovered: https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/variable_table_assembly.htm#Table-options
Ok, next step - how do I delete all the variables from my local table now that they are in the part studio? And please, not one at a time.
You can select the variables you need to delete in Features tree in your part studio, then right click on any one of them and select 'delete'.
This might be the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life.
We should be able to highlight variables in part studio, right click, and copy them to a variable studio.
This is nothing short of absurd.
