I think what you see is a feature, not a bug, though a non-obvious feature: The first dimension added to a sketch scales the whole sketch. It's very helpful when you need it. To get around it, add another dimension somewhere first, and accept the default value, then dimension your line, and delete the other dimension. -

Snap dimensions to whole/.5 while dragging in Sketch or other tools
Not sure if this is somehow possible, however, I wasn't able to find a way to do it. I am looking to have the dimensions when dragging for example a line in a sketch automatically “snap” to whole millimetres.This would speed up sketching a lot, since I wouldn't have to enter the exact value afterwards for every line, etc.… -
Drawing grid or alternative method
I've got a part or two that have organic edges created from a spline. I now want to cut this part from flat stock. I created a drawing of the part and wish to dimension it. I was unable to use the radius dimension on the spline; would not allow me to accept any curvature as an input.I thought an alternative would be to use… -
double dimension disappeared
For some reason, double dimensions disappeared. I select the dimension tool then click on the first line and then click on the second line and move my mouse beyond the second line and it used to give a double dimension. Now I just get the dimension text below the second line and the dimension measures the single distance.… -
