create a curved pipe inside a solid

I have this 3d solid design that I am trying to curve a "bent" pipe-like shape through. I have tried using sweep with spline for the sweep path but it's not working. It's a bit tricky to choose the plane or create an offset plane. I was following this tutorial:

What I am trying to create is this: (two curved pipes)
Right Side view
Front Side view
and this is what I have so far:

Thanks

I linked a document you can try that uses 3d fit spline

Again I am not sure if this would be a problem after printing it (3D printing)
