I want to make a helmet shape and have tried to use a loft

It seems like that curve you have sketched should be used a guide, not a path. As Bruce says, it will be easier to see what's going on if you post the link to your document.Jake Rosenfeld - Modeling Team6 -
mlaflecheCAD Member, Onshape Employees, Developers Posts: 179@peter_clifford Perhaps using Normal to Profile and the Path with 5 sections is causing a conflict. Also, creating a surface with a thicken operation afterwards is way easier than trying to loft complicated sketches.
This type of geometry may be best served by using several surface models put together. My colleague @jdesilets created this awesome helmet design from a couple images natively in Onshape.
