Copy contents of a note from one drawing and paste into another

I know this has been requested before but it's suddenly become an issue with me.  I have a detailed 10-line spline shaft specification used in multiple drawings.  Retyping it in each drawing is a pain and introduces the possibility of errors.  Copying and pasting the contents of the note would be a pleasure.

If it's in the same document you can RMB copy and paste. I think it even works across documents but I think might be a bit hit or miss.
