How can I change the dimension of a new part that is extruded from an existing part

Is is it possible to change the dimension of a new part that is extruded from an existing part to give the new part a clearance fit? The 2 parts modelled from each other have the exact same measurements so would not easily fit together
Many thanks in advance.

Based on how you've modeled your parts, I feel like you would get the most benefit from completing some beginner tutorials. Here's a link to the CAD basics learning pathway.6
