How can I change the dimension of a new part that is extruded from an existing part

Is is it possible to change the dimension of a new part that is extruded from an existing part to give the new part a clearance fit? The 2 parts modelled from each other have the exact same measurements so would not easily fit together

There are countless ways to accomplish what you want. Here's one method using 1 sketch, 2 extrudes, and 1 move face. There's no one right way. Welcome to the forum. I would venture to say the answer to your question is yes. However, without further details about your model it's difficult to give you a better response. Thanks for you prompt reply. As you can see part 2 would have to be pressed into part 1 but I would like a clearance fit.
