Started the model for my entry. Check out this little branchlet:
Attractor pattern would be perfect for getting a more random look, however it was taking too long for my case. So I used Texture instead.

Spoiler alert 😁😁😁
They made the video private before I had time to watch it beyond the first 20 seconds. Hopefully before the end of the day we'll see for real what this 3 weeks has brought us.
I won't say what they are in case they change their minds on some.

Ran into some efficiency issues with my assembly approach.
Old approach not efficient:
Bristle (Part studio) >> Ring of bristles (Sub assembly) >> Stem (Sub assembly) >> Branch (Sub assembly) >> Ring of branches (Sub assembly) >> Tree (Main assembly)New approach will probably look like this:
Stem with bristles single part (Part studio) >> Branch (Sub assembly) >> Ring of branches (Sub assembly) >> Tree (Main assembly)Anyone have other ideas? Please share for sure!

So, it will always be very slow.
If I gave it a go, it would be a part studio for each (Level of) branch and bristles, then have an assembly that has one of each branch mated to a post.
then use circular patterns to fill out the post.
I'd either make a configured branch, but more likely I would copy the part studio and make each size explicitly since configs may be harder to manage
then you can turn most of the geometry off while making edits, then un-supress the patterns to see the full tree
Good points! I may try a quick re-design of the bristle to reduce the triangle count. There is a chance my old approach will work by doing this.
