align views from different inserted views?
hello,
is there any way to center two views that we inserted separately in one drawing,
I have, for example, the right views of an assembly explode and not explode, and I would like to center the two views in the center of the page (the horizontal middle vertically aligned to the horizontal middle of the page)
is it possible?
best regards, franco

I was wondering when this will happen. It is something that we have been waiting for a long time. When generation General assembly drawings with various named positions this would be very (very) welcome funtionality to have.
I guess this hasn't yet reached a high enough priority to implement?
Adding my voice / vote for this feature.
Views are now aligned based on their bounds / bounding boxes
Also adding my vote for this feature.
It is crucial for making correct drawings.
Anyone got a link to the improvement request so I can vote up?
This is the closest one I can find. Not sure if this reflects everything in this thread.

Adding my vote to have this as an improvement request. It's a simple right click operation in Solidworks!
There already is a view alignment check box in the view property dialog. It can only suppress/enable alignment to the parent view, though. I wish there was an additional row of boxes that would enable X and Y alignment with a user specified reference view just in that place. I recently had to draw something similar to a ship's frame plan, and this option would have come handy. I have all the frames in their own view, and I need another view with them all layered on top of each other for the purpose of an overview.
I could of course set up another assembly with all the frames and pull a single drawing off these, but I do already have all the views detailed out. Another use case is everything architecture, where overlaying the elevation of a set of walls and certain installations in the room may be desirable.
