Huge update! Nicely done.
YES, Finaly exclude from this BOM!
callout highlighting looks awesome. This will make checking balloons much easier.
Onshape Bingo | Active Players @Andres_Oss is one feature away from taking the win
Not much new on the Featurescript front this update but this catches my eye:
I wonder if this version name means I can get up to more cursed sheet metal manipulation or less.
Very nice update. Having the ability to exclude from a single BOM will allow us to do stuff we weren't able to and had no good workaround!
Is there any way to revert the changes to the document page? I preferred the older UI since I did not have a lot of documents/folders.
@Derek_Van_Allen_BD Don't read too much into FeatureScriptVersion names. Most of the time new entries correspond to one or another bug fix. This one happens to be responsible for several Sheet metal cone-related fixes that did not make it into the previous release, but were not deemed bad enough to delay releasing the functionality because of them.
@lana But reading the tea leaves is half the fun of F5 Fridays. Bug fixes are sometimes more exciting to me than feature drops honestly.
Happy 200th!!! Some great improvements here.
We've come across an issue with SUPPRESS FROM THIS BOM with some legacy data that is not performing correctly. We are temporarily disabling until a preventative fix is in place. It is our #1 priority to get this re-enabled as soon as possible.
edit:
SUPPRESS FROM THIS BOM has been re-enabled.
I'm excited to try out these improvements. I'm also anxious to do some inertial relief comparisons with other analysis tools.
I'm very confused. Does the new file organization UI help anyone? I don't understand why I would want to open a folder and have 2 separate windows for folders and documents. Please at least give us an option to keep the old UI. I love Onshape, but this is very frustrating.
Edit: if you watch the "DOCUMENTS PAGE" video, some of the new features with the columns and stuff seem pretty useful, but having 2 separate windows open up is just so clunky especially since they are split horizontally. If the left hand side was folders and the right hand side was documents that would make a little more sense.
Sweetness, nice update team!
The frame library folder structure menus looks awesome.

Wow this is a major one. So much goodness. Definitely will need time to digest it all.
Have to agree that a folder structure on the left would be a more "normal" way of doing it… And also more efficient as once you go into a folder you don't see the upper levels anymore and you have to go back from the path at the top to go back down somewhere else.
Maybe that's a case where re-inventing the wheel doesn't make sense and the good old expandable tree is a proven way of doing this!
Other than that there's some good stuff in here for sure!
I like a lot of the modern changes to the document page UI! I hope that eventually there will be some parity with the UI in the BoM and Configurations panels inside of documents, for example the way the bom tables are constructed and how the columns or are organized, as well as dragging configurations inside of lists to move them.
Agreed
Happy 200th UPDATE !!!! I'm very excited to finally make nested extrusion libraries rather then searching by name in my one big extrusion document :P
Thank you for the update.
Please make any changes user does to the page persistent. Currently folders section always expanded to over 1/4 of the page even when empty. Manually resize and/or collapse not being saved either.
Nice update. I have to say, I agree with some of the comments here about the new, mandatory navigation page view. I can't say its really making me feel uncomfortable or that I am finding it hindering my usual workflow but, it feels a bit like, "what was the point?" Maybe this view is just a stepping stone into something else that is actually going to make a navigational improvement? When it comes to changes to the navigation view, I am always disappointed that new abilities in being able to add in user preferred columns to the view never seem to include part number, revision, state. It baffles me that these columns are not considered important enough to merit adding support for right of the hop. Instead we are still stuck with viewing part number from that little tiny readout that is mixed into the name column and gets hidden if the column is not expanded out far enough.
It's funny, I went into an old analysis last week which failed for some reason, I couldn't figure out why.
Oh, someone added an on/off button! I just turned on inertia relief on and it's running again. My assumption was that it was always on. Some of use simulation a lot and like it.
Great 200th update. I like the new layout to the documents page. The other updates will be good to try out.
Nice work on 200 releases! Library folders are going to be handy, and I'm all for things like the Arena update that help with data IO.

I agree with other users that the new documents page is a big step backwards. It is very frustrating to use.

yeah, the current left side menu can be flattened in the row on top, and then the left panel can be purely occupied with the folder tree
Suppress from BOM. Great!!
The BOM improvement is very welcome. Thank you!
This new UI is not something my coworkers and I are liking as of this moment logging into Onshape this morning. The icons are made even tinier than what we need it to be. Give us an option to determine what size we want for the folder structure and/or documents list. The split screen between folders and documents wasn't a needed feature for our company. We probably would've been fine this feature was placed to the side like the details information. I hate to say it, but this awful UI update overshadows all of the other updates that were actually decent.
The new UI update is… unfortunate. Would love to know where the option to revert to the original layout is.
I agree with other users that the new documents page is a big step backwards.
As a test user with early visibility to the documents page I will say that it took some getting used to but have grown to appreciate it. I like that if I am working in a particular project or folder and don't need to see subfolders I can minimize that portion of the screen and it takes up virtually no real estate and can look at Documents only.
Some other really big updates for us tho, this was a great release! I like the UI (after getting used to it) and some standard content additions, exclude from this BOM, library subfolders and Onshape-Arena enhancements are huge for us!
Exclude from this BOM was a much needed option! Also looking forward to using the library subfolders for frames.
