PTC/USER Global Summit 2026

I want to get the forum's thoughts on the PTC/User Global Summit. It's an independent event run by the users. Here is a link for more information. https://www.ptcuser.org/
I know it is mostly attended and is geared towards PTC products such as Creo, Windchill, Mtahcad, etc. I was thinking since there is no LiveWorx or Onshape live virtual events right now for Onshape users to gather/attend, maybe this event could be an alternative ? I know 2026 is out of the question, but if it is something the community would be interested in, maybe we could come up with Onshape related material for next year and possibly have it set for a 1 day experience at the summit.
Thoughts?

We would love to have you all! If someone was interested in submitting content to present at the summit related to onshape please reach out to me @ brian@ptcuser.org. Accepted proposals will get a free ticket to attend the event!
Thanks @brian_york442
Question to the community, Would you attend the PTC User event with Onshape material? I would say this would probably be more feasible for 2027 than 2026.
If so what sessions would you like to see?
Sessions I would like to see;
I could go on and list more
Getting to interact and pick the brains of power users such as @MichaelPascoe @Caden_Armstrong @EvanReese @eric_pesty @alnis @imants_smidchens @john_mcclary @S1mon @sebastian_glanzner @shawn_crocker
Maybe have Onshape brass as well such as @ilya_baran @john_rousseau @Roy_Mutalik @NeilCooke @lana @lougallo @mlaflecheCAD
Thoughts?

I would be happy to meet up if we could indeed get a quorum from a list of people like that.

Probably would need another year of prep before I could give a sermon from my full CAD manifesto, but I could probably do a tight ten on how sheet metal parts are actually 4 dimensional objects but almost everyone in industry uses a 2 dimensional file format to exchange data. That revelation alone is 90% of why we're using Onshape since it's the only implementation of a sheet metal engine I'm aware of that shows the flat and formed representations simultaneously. It's also the reason I work almost exclusively with OSHcut as a metal supplier since they're a manufacturer who's developed a browser based part unfolding and DFM engine that does similar heavy lifting on the vendor side of the equation, and I'm waiting to see the rest of the metals industry take their lead.

I'd like to see more on simulation
@bryan_lagrange If this becomes a thing. I'll go and rep CADSharp. I confirmed with @Keith_Rice, he will send me.
I would love to get to hang with everyone!
I'm interested in any of the following categories.
If there are spots you can't fill, you can push me to whichever ones needs to be filled.

thanks @bryan_lagrange for thinking of me, I'd be all up for it.. once the dates for next year are set I can think about it more.
Chances are probably 5% though- it's a 14h trip one way..
