Problem revolving a sweep feature

I am working on building a worm gear model. I figured out how to make the worm part. But the gear part is proving difficult. I cut a v shaped grove in a cylinder shape at an angle to make a nearly helical gear tooth. However I can't revolve the sweeps around cylinder to make the teeth.
