Dont seem to be able to select faces?

Okay so I was sketching on an extrude, and everything was all fine and dandy, then I added some beziers between the circles, and now the circles aren't able to extrude. I'm also not able to select any faces? I can extrude surfaces like the edge of the circles but not the circles themselves, which is really odd considering the circles aren't constructions. Help? Any help is much appreciated!

Do you have 'Solid' 9rather than 'Surface' selected in the extrude dialogue window?
Hard to say exactly without the file, but most likely it's correctly refusing to extrude those arcs. A 'solid' extrude doesn't work with lines/arcs or anything which has zero cross-sectional area.

I'm not sure I really follow what you mean because like I said I was able to extrude it earlier, it only stopped working once I added the beziers. It was because of the stupid beziers thanks guys
