I want to make the yellow band with 4 corner bends and a rip on the construction line as shown. The dimensions of the band are derived from the 3 cylinders by an extruded solid that matches the dimensions of the 3 cylinders.

How would I go about unwrapping tube ends? I'm using the beam feature to model a tube chassis. Looking to unwrap the ends of the tubes so I can have a template to cut/notch the tube ends in preparation for welding. Any solutions to this? It seems it can't be done with sheet metal...

Hi I have made a very simple box, defined the bends and the rips, but when I try to finish the sheet metal it has the error "did not regenerate properly - cannot resolve entities". I am trying to learn how to use Onshape so that I can move my design office over from Solid Edge

I tried importing a simple sheet metal part created with solidworks as a STEP file. I was unable to convert the file using Onshape's sheet metal tools to make the part useable. Is this possible to do or am I missing something?
