Re: Auto Layout Feature
For the cut list table it would be great to show the part name, length, and width. A table format like this would allow for exporting to third party material optimizers. However, if there was also some way to add the layout to a drawing it could be really helpful to map out all the different parts. In my case, I have a… -

Re: Dimension for wraped arc
If it’s wrapped, conceptually it’s a radius, but what do you want to inspect? Will your inspectors have a CMM, or just calipers? The 25 dimension on the section is not very useful. What are you inspecting? There’s no tangent line on a real part. I might dimension the width and height of the slots, and possibly mark the… -
STL export settings explanation
I'm a bit unclear what each of the settings in the "custom" STL export mean. It's unclear what they control (could the labels be updated to provide more insight?), and it's not in the OnShape documentation, can someone explain what each custom setting controls? Angular deviation: From what? Is this controlling the minimum… -

Re: How can I shell objects to maintain a XY dimension thickness to optimize for thin walled 3D printing
Hi @andrew_slovak I also would like to have a function to shell it with the same thickness in XY-Plane. That will speed up the print and make it cleaner, I agree. I don't know what slicer you use, but a few of them have a function to vary the line width to reduce unecessary infill. In the Bambu Studio it is called… -

Configurations
Hello, I have create a design of a table for my Woodworking students. All parts are in 1 parts studio so that I could relate the geometry. I then created a configuration table of the main dimensions (Height, Width, Length, leg size and skirt width). Each student has different dimensions to make the tables different to…
