Shared document limitation.
The possibility of sharing the document with anyone who can open it without registration and mainly without installing any software is one of the greatest OnShape features. But this shared document is missing a few things. Variable values, there is just a useless "variable", why is there no real variable name and value?… -

I would also like to be able to do this. I don't like having variables spread out across part studios and variable studios, I prefer to have them all in a variable studio. But this means I am completely rules out of using measured variables which is detrimental. Perhaps it's me being overly pedantic with my document set-up… -

Variable input in linear pattern switches to number
At first I thought it was just my mistake, but I've had this happen about seven times. When I input the spacing on a linear pattern I write it as an equation (2*[a+b]). Hi, When adding sketch entities the dimension boxes only seem to enable when a numeric character is entered, it would be nice if they also enabled when the # key is pressed to allow variables to be entered? Currently I type a 0, backspace and then enter the variable name. Maybe I’m missing something? Thanks. -
