'Use' and 'offset' in sketches
Hi, What's the best way to place a sketch on a face and then trace the face edges into the sketch and then offset those sketch lines? The edges will be a combination of lines and curves. Essentially the same as 'use' and 'offset' when using sketcher? This seems a simple thing to want to do so probably missing something…

Frames and configured sketches
Hi, I have a configured sketch which I am applying to multiple frames. It's a simple rectangle with configured height and width. Why doesn't the spur gear feature script update properly when using a variable studio
When you create a variable studio and add variables like gear pitch and teeth number, and then create gears in a part studio based on those variables, the gear outputs correctly. But if you go back and edit the variable amount in the Var studio and go back to the part studio, it generates wrong. The variable names are…

I'm having Issues with OnShape prematurely crashing with imported 3d scans .STLs and .OBJs
I've been an Onshape user for a few years now (came from Fusion360). However I've been a little dis-heartened recently with constant browser crashes, and this includes (but not exclusively) when importing NIR 3D scanned models. I've looked through the chats and tried a few things including prioritizing WEBGL rendering with…

Is it possible to make
Hi, I'm a beginner in FeatureScript, please tell me is it possible to make a feature which is automatically moving some faces to adjust the height of the body. It will be much easier if I write an example: I'm buying material as 50, 60, 70 and 80 mm aluminum billets. I have one standard 3D solid body (50 mm height). I'm…

Drafting two faces not symmetrical
Hi, I'm applying a draft to a frame. The draft is applied to two opposite faces and I was expecting that each face would be drafted by the same amount, but they're not. Unwatned shapes locked to any document I create or open
I did a test with patterns, and dimensions, then accidently hit a shortcut, this caused these shapes to be "hard locked" not removable, and they show up in every new document I create, and even in other document saved before, that is very weird. I can not find a way to unlock and delete this shapes. And as mentioned, if I…
